As the leader of home improvement, making things better is in The Home Depot’s DNA. So, in the midst of a pandemic, we ‘improved’ the way we do the holidays; by offering Black Friday prices all season long. After a few press releases, several competitors followed suit, and in the end, The Home Depot had its most successful holiday season to date. Even cooler, we hopefully changed Black Friday forever.

In the year 2020, ‘happy holidays’ seemed like a thing of the past. While lifting the spirits of those around us was more important than ever, this :30 national broadcast TV spot reminded consumers that holiday decor at The Home Depot is just the way to do it.

To provide a unique social extension, we opted to create a single-narrative :15 digital video that was simple and concise.
